  Since there wasn't much snow when we visited, my son & I decided to drive around, we ended up here at the top of the mountains at this little park with the Most Beautiful View.
  It was absolutely worth the drive!
  Other people were taking advantage of the view to get professional portraits taken.
  I can't truly describe how cold it was! I think in the teens ... maybe. It took your breath away.
  It just so happened that we were there when the lake tours cruise ship came by to show their patrons the only island in the lake.
  There was lots of good visitor information on the signs as well.
  You probably need your own car to visit here. I don't know if there are tours, but I think it would be worth renting a car even for a day to drive up here because the views really are breathtaking!
  This is a don't miss stop when visiting Lake Tahoe.
